Color Photo Updates!

A lot of y'all have been asking for photos of the pink and the black with red bags. Let me explain the situation a bit!

It's still the Chinese New Year holiday for my manufacturer, as well as the factories they work with. We weren't able to get a photo or make a sample of the pink before they all left (the fabric factory went a little sooner than my manufacturer), and I haven't given them the information for the black with red yet, they only know I'm doing a 4th color :)

I do have this fabric swatch chart that shows the colors next to one another! 

And I went ahead and did some photoshopping for you guys, like all the big corporations do when they only want to photograph one color cardigan so you get a super awkward approximation of the color you ACTUALLY want. The lavender is edited to be pretty true to color in cool daylight, and the pink is edited based off the sample photo they sent me. 

The fabric factory is back on the 24th, and the manufacturer is back on the 26th (which is when I'll pay the deposit for the purses as well). I'll get better photos for y'all then, but for that reason I'm not sending surveys out until the 26th!

Hope this is helpful for now, and remember I'll be creating some add-ons to the BackerKit pre-order shop before then also! Hang tight this week and I'll post updates as I have them!

At the time of writing this, we're like $350 away from $21k, so I'll just front the last bit and make it happen!!! So if you see this in time, feel free to update your pledges accordingly.

The colors we will be producing are:

• Lavender
• Pink
• Black with Lavender Face
• Black with Red Face

OTHERWISE!

You WILL be able to add on additional purses via BackerKit once the campaign ends :D

Guys!!!!!!! WE DID IT!

In the last hour we did manage to push past $21,000!!!! I'm eternally grateful and so so excited!

My plan for the last week was to get the BackerKit page 100% ready but this week did not go according to plan, so please bear with me while I finalize it. You can still check it out here! For now, I think it only works if you missed the campaign and would still like to pre-order a purse :)

First off all- thank you for your kind comments and messages yesterday! Our power seems to be mostly back which is such a relief. Many Texans are still without, and most of us are also still under boil-water recommendations so it's still pretty dicey here.

As y'all can see, we're pretty close to the final goal of $21k. I'll see how it's looking in the morning and update you guys then!

I wanted to answer a question I'm getting right now, which is:

If the last color is unlocked, will I be able to add on another bat purse after the campaign ends?

The answer is yes! I'm using BackerKit which has features for add-ons. I'll have more info on this after the campaign ends, but you'll be able to pledge some more via BackerKit once the Kickstarter campaign ends! You WILL have to supply your payment information an additional time, which is a little annoying but it's the easiest way for me to handle this without missing anyone!!!

But, if it's looking really good in the morning I'll call it and you guys will have a few hours to update your pledges on here (Kickstarter) before the campaign closes.

Either way, you'll be able to get the bags you want, from the ones that were unlocked! :D I know a LOT (like, a LOT) of you are excited for the black with red face so let's make that last little push!

So with that, this also serves as a final reminder to update your pledge! Whether you're no longer able to back, want more or less purses now, etc. Now is the time to edit them because the campaign closes tomorrow!

South Texas Winter Storm

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the lack of updates the last couple days! We're in the home stretch and normally I'd be updating and sharing like crazy!

But unfortunately, I'm in San Antonio Texas. Some of you may have seen that most of Texas (a very enormous state) has had no power and no cell service! I'm writing this during one of the brief moments of power and wifi!

This doesn't change much about the project (yet)- the factory is still on New Year's holiday, once the campaign ends I'll still have 2 weeks until funds are released.

Please bear with me while Texas gets its act together! And if you can, share the campaign! In the last couple days we can totally make that final goal!!!
